Colossians 3:13 (NLT).
Make allowance for each other’s faults, and forgive anyone who offends you. Remember, the Lord forgave you, so you must forgive others.
We all struggle with this at times, but we need to forgive.
Unforgiveness is most probably the worst thing that you can do to yourself. Yes, to yourself.
By not forgiving someone else, we are in fact placing ourselves higher than God (and that is nothing else than idolatry).
God forgave us; so who are we not to forgive others? If we don’t forgive, we give the enemy leverage to use that unforgiveness and to turn it into bitterness. This will destroy you mentally and physically, the same way as cancer.
Someone once said “Your relationship with God is based on how often and how quickly you forgive and that unforgiveness hinders the move of God in your life.”
Therefore.. forgive, forgive.. in Jesus Name forgive!
