In Exodus 14 we read of the time when the Israelites had to cross the red sea. The Egyptians followed them and wanted to attack. Of course, the Israelites were greatly afraid, but GOD fought for them.
Egypt is seen as bondage. Every time the New Testament refers to Egypt, it refers to bondage.
God lead Israel out of Egypt and Jesus lead us out of the prison of bondage caused by the enemy.
The Sovereign Lord has filled me with His Spirit. He has chosen me and sent me to bring good news to the poor, to heal the brokenhearted, to announce release to captives, and freedom to those in prison.
Isaiah 61:1 GNB
Sometimes we have to face the giant in the battle, just like David faced Goliath, and trust God to take us through the battle. It is after all God’s battle, not ours.
When going through life, there will be challenges on the way that you need to face – whether it is a bump in the road or an elephant in your way – it is important to trust God and let Him fight for you and take you through it.
The Lord will fight for you, and there is no need for you to do anything.
Exodus 14:14 GNB
