Often we think that we should glorify God in our own life and way of living, which automatically puts pressure on ourselves.
For You are my rock and my fortress; Therefore, for Your name’s sake, lead me and guide me.
Psalm 31:3 NKJV
Our foundation should never be ourselves or our own effort, but Christ!
He is, and wants to be our rock.
This verse shows that to glorify His name, we should be lead and guided by Him. We will therefore not be able to do it in ourselves.
It is therefore vital that we surrender to His guidance and let His Spirit lead us in our lives to glorify Him.
