Have you ever had a screw (or something similar) get stuck in your car’s tyre? It creates a tiny hole, causing a slow leak that’s not always easy to spot.
To find the exact location, we often pour water over the tyre. Eventually, bubbles begin to rise – revealing where the hole is. Once it’s found, the hole can be plugged, and the tyre restored.
In a very similar way, God uses His Word to wash over our lives, revealing the areas that need healing, correction, or growth. His truth gently exposes the “holes” – our shortcomings, wounds, or sins.
And then, through the blood of Jesus, those holes are plugged. We are restored, made whole, and kept from deflating spiritually.
Christ loved the church and gave His life for it. He did this to dedicate the church to God by His Word, after making it clean by washing it in water, in order to present the church to Himself in all its beauty, pure and faultless, without spot or wrinkle or any other imperfection.
Ephesians 5:25–27
Let His Word reveal.
Let His blood restore.
Let your life be filled again with purpose and strength
