Steering wheel

steering wheel

When going on vacation, the little girl in the back seat isn’t worried or stressed about where they are going.  She knows Mom/Dad behind the steering wheel is in control and she feels safe.  She just enjoys the ride.

Imagine being like that with God!

There’s a popular saying:

Let go, and let God.

If you let go of the “steering wheel” (control) and let God be the “driver” of your life, you won’t have to worry about where you are going; you can just rest and enjoy the ride!

If this little girl wanted to drive, the car would most possibly crash. That is the same way it is with God! If we crave to take hold of the steering wheel, everything will end up in a disaster.

Incredible change happens in your life when you decide to take control of what you do have power over instead of craving control over what you don’t.

Let God take control of your life, lay back, relax and enjoy the ride with Him as your Driver.

Become more like a child, like this little girl.

The Lord Himself goes before you and will be with you; He will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.

1 Blessed is the man Who walks not in the counsel of the [a]ungodly, Nor stands in the path of sinners, Nor sits in the seat of the scornful; 2 But his delight is in the law of the Lord, And in His law he [b]meditates day and night. 3 He shall be like a tree Planted by the [c]rivers of water, That brings forth its fruit in its season, Whose leaf also shall not wither; And whatever he does shall prosper. 4 The ungodly are not so, But are like the chaff which the wind drives away. 5 Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, Nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous. 6 For the Lord knows the way of the righteous, But the way of the ungodly shall perish.
