We all face trials.. but we have to decide not to fear, but to be joyful.
Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything. If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you.
James 1:2-5
In this scripture, it doesn’t say that we won’t face any trials, but that we should be joyful when we go through them, because it will strengthen our faith.
Sometimes when going through these trials, it may be a lonely road.
But that only takes you to a point where you realise you’re not alone. God will never leave you and He has never left you.
In verse 5 we read that if we need wisdom when going through these trials, we can just ask Him.
We all go through new seasons in our lives, and it may sometimes be terrifying. But God says in His Word:
Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by your name; You are Mine.
When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned, nor shall the flame scorch you.
Isaiah 43:1-1
So whatever you are facing, just know that God is with you and you don’t have to fear. He will lead you and you won’t be burned, but moulded.
