For the wages of sin is death,
but the gift of God is eternal life
in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Run in the Light

He is the light

Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying, “I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life.”

John 8:12

Everyone has what they call a “past”.

Unfortunately the enemy condemns us by reminding us of our past like a dark shadow following us wherever we go.

Darkness can’t withstand the light, and therefore all we have to do is run to the Light that is Jesus.

He brings light on the pathway we have to follow. He will cast out all the darkness that the enemy wants to put in our lives, we only need to ask Him.

Jesus paid for our sins, and therefore when the enemy puts us on trial, Jesus declares us “not guilty”!

Choose to run in Jesus’ light instead of letting the dark shadow hold you back.

1 Blessed is the man Who walks not in the counsel of the [a]ungodly, Nor stands in the path of sinners, Nor sits in the seat of the scornful; 2 But his delight is in the law of the Lord, And in His law he [b]meditates day and night. 3 He shall be like a tree Planted by the [c]rivers of water, That brings forth its fruit in its season, Whose leaf also shall not wither; And whatever he does shall prosper. 4 The ungodly are not so, But are like the chaff which the wind drives away. 5 Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, Nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous. 6 For the Lord knows the way of the righteous, But the way of the ungodly shall perish.

Psalm 1 - NKJV
