One of the things one should fear most is to be separated from God.
Unfaithful people! Don’t you know that to be the world’s friend means to be God’s enemy? People who want to be the world’s friend make themselves God’s enemies.
James 4:4
When we sin, we start feeling separated from God because the enemy condemns us.
The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.
John 10:10 NKJV
What we don’t realise, is that the enemy is a liar and is afraid of God. He can only destroy you when you are separated from God, and that is why he condemns you.
It is important to realise that all the thing he tells you, is lies (John 8:44). When he tells you that God won’t ever forgive or love you, see it for the lie that it is!
Behold, the Lord’s hand is nor shortened, that it cannot save; nor His ear heavy, that it cannot hear. But your iniquities have separated you from God; and your sins have hidden His face from you, so that He will not hear.
Isaiah 59:1-2 NKJV
Choose not to listen to the enemy. Find your joy in God. (Isaiah 58:14)
