but the gift of God is eternal life
in Christ Jesus our Lord.

My House

How often do we look at other “Christians” and judge them based on their actions? We don’t even look at the way WE live!

But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord

Joshua 24:15b NKJV

We have to start focusing on our lives and the way we live and analyze whether or not it serves/glorifies God. We should stop looking at others’ lives and judge them.

Why, then, do you look at the speck in your brother’s eye and pay no attention to the log in your own eye? How dare you say to your brother, ‘Please, let me take that speck out of your eye,’ when you have a log in your own eye? You hypocrite! First take the log out of your own eye, and then you will be able to see clearly to take the speck out of your brother’s eye.

Matthew 7:3-5 GNB

Choose to serve God through YOUR life, and pray for the others who don’t, but never judge them.

Do not judge others, so that God will not judge you, for God will judge you in the same way you judge others, and he will apply to you the same rules you apply to others.

Matthew 7:1-2 GNB

When you judge others you do not define them, you define yourself.

Focus on your own house before “helping” another

1 Blessed is the man Who walks not in the counsel of the [a]ungodly, Nor stands in the path of sinners, Nor sits in the seat of the scornful; 2 But his delight is in the law of the Lord, And in His law he [b]meditates day and night. 3 He shall be like a tree Planted by the [c]rivers of water, That brings forth its fruit in its season, Whose leaf also shall not wither; And whatever he does shall prosper. 4 The ungodly are not so, But are like the chaff which the wind drives away. 5 Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, Nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous. 6 For the Lord knows the way of the righteous, But the way of the ungodly shall perish.
