but the gift of God is eternal life
in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Puppet or Vessel

The enemy uses people like puppet to try and get to you.  It is vital to remember this when someone mistreats you.

He can also use you as his puppet if you let him. This happens when, for example, you take offence or don’t glorify God with your lifestyle.

God also uses people, but as vessels.  A vessel is a canal that is used to transport something.

God uses people to “transport” His Word and love.

Vessels still have free will to be used, but a puppet is forced to do something and is condemned.

Therefore if anyone cleanses himself from the latter, he will be a vessel for honor, sanctified and useful for the Master, prepared for every good work.

2 Timothy 2:21

You have to choose if you are going to be a vessel which God can use for the good, or a puppet which the enemy will use for his selfish work.

1 Blessed is the man Who walks not in the counsel of the [a]ungodly, Nor stands in the path of sinners, Nor sits in the seat of the scornful; 2 But his delight is in the law of the Lord, And in His law he [b]meditates day and night. 3 He shall be like a tree Planted by the [c]rivers of water, That brings forth its fruit in its season, Whose leaf also shall not wither; And whatever he does shall prosper. 4 The ungodly are not so, But are like the chaff which the wind drives away. 5 Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, Nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous. 6 For the Lord knows the way of the righteous, But the way of the ungodly shall perish.
