Magnifying Glass

In Matthew 13 we read about the parable of the seed sower and the people who hear God’s Word and don’t do anything about it.

We always talk about “those people”.  All we actually  do is to judge others by having spiritual arrogance and that means God will have to humble us – and that is not a nice process!

But I think it’s time we put the magnifying glass on ourselves.

How many times when you read bible or listen to a teaching it just passes you by and it doesn’t penetrate your heart?

When you read out of the Word, meditate on it and allow it to become a revelation. That is when it penetrates your heart!

Choose every day to live God’s Word and to follow it.

“Most assuredly, I say to you, he who hears My word and believes in Him who sent Me has everlasting life, and shall not come into judgment, but has passed from death into life. Most assuredly, I say to you, the hour is coming, and now is, when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God; and those who hear will live.”

John 5.24-25
