Let’s get real! Everyone of us wants to be blessed… and there is nothing wrong with that!
But what does it really mean to be blessed?
God see being blessed so much different than the way we do. It has nothing to do with finances, material things or social status…
Everything comes back to what you fear. Do you have the fear of the Lord, or do you fear men? If you fear men, you would pursue ambition, finances, popularity and material things at all cost. But at the end, it would leave you still feeling empty inside.
Blessed is everyone who fears the Lord, who walks in His ways. When you eat the labor of your hands, you shall be happy, and it shall be well with you. Your wife shall be like a fruitful vine. In the very heart of your house, your children like olive plants all around your table. Behold, thus shall the man be blessed who fears the Lord. The Lord bless you out of Zion, and may you see the good of Jerusalem all the days of your life. Yes, may see your children’s children. Peace upon Israel.
