Trials, tribulations and false accusations are all part of life, whether we like it or not.
When situations like these occur, we are often left speechless, puzzled and totally confused.
We try our best to figure it out and and to make sense out of it, but then His truth comes to mind…
Isaiah 55: 8 NIV “For My thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways, My ways,” declares the Lord.”
Come to think of it, He even warns us that situations like these, will surely occur.
Matthew 5:11-12 NKJV Blessed are you when they revile and persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely for My sake. Rejoice and be exceedingly glad, for great is your reward in heaven, for so they persecuted the prophets who were before you.
1 Pet 5:8-11 NJKV Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. Resist him, steadfast in the faith, knowing that the same sufferings are experienced by your brotherhood in the world. But may the God of all grace, who called us to His eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after you have suffered a while, perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle you. To Him be the glory and the dominion forever and ever. Amen.
God is the good, good Father, and because He is in control, we can rest in the promise that He will take care of us and that He is fighting the fight on our behalf.
Exodus 14: 14 NKJV The Lord will fight for you, and you shall hold your peace.
2 Chronicals 20: 15 NKJV And he said, “Listen, all you of Judah and you inhabitants of Jerusalem, and you, King Jehoshaphat! Thus says the Lord to you: ‘Do not be afraid nor dismayed because of this great multitude, for the battle is not yours, but God’s.’
Isaiah 54: 17 NKJV No weapon formed against you shall prosper,
and every tongue which rises against you in judgment You shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is from Me,” says the Lord.
Isaiah 41: 10-13 NKJV Behold, all those who were incensed against you shall be ashamed and disgraced; they shall be as nothing, and those who strive with you shall perish.
You shall seek them and not find them— Those who contended with you. Those who war against you shall be as nothing, as a nonexistent thing. For I, the Lord your God, will hold your right hand, saying to you, ‘Fear not, I will help you.’
Therefore remind Him of His promises and rest in His truth. The battle isn’t yours anyway.
