Does it sometimes feel like all the effort you put into people, all the encouragement and support you give them, just goes by unnoticed, no reward what so ever?
It is then when we feel unappreciated and misunderstood, ending up with no acknowledgement, realizing no one will return a favour or support you when you needs a shoulder to cry on.
Well don’t worry, there is always a light at the end of the tunnel.
“So do not throw away your confidence; it will be richly rewarded. You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what He has promised.”
Hebrews 10:35-36 NIV Version
God says that He will one day reward you with better rewards than you can even imagine while you are still here on earth. Don’t lose heart and don’t lose your courage.
Take Nehemiah for example. He was intentionally busy doing what he was called for and when distractions occurred, he replied:
“I am carrying on a great project and cannot go down. Why should the work stop while I leave it and go down to you?”

When discouragement comes your way, know that you shouldn’t “go down” to its level. Keep on pressing on towards your goal.
“I press toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.”
Philippians 3:14
