The path of God

path

I have taught you in the way of wisdom; I have led you in right paths. When you walk, your steps will not be hindered,
and when you run, you will not stumble. Take firm hold of instruction, do not let go; keep her, for she is your life. Do not enter the path of the wicked,  and do not walk in the way of evil. Avoid it, do not travel on it; turn away from it and pass on.

God’s road is going in the opposite direction that the world’s road. God’s path leads to life!

As righteousness leads to life, so he who pursues evil pursues it to his own death.

Let’s be honest for a moment… Sometimes we get sucked into the rushed world.  We get “too busy” for the REAL important things – not the worldly important things.

How often do we make our own future plans?

I’m not talking about planning, because planning is crucial, I’m talking about trying to be “one step ahead” of God.

We get so consumed in trying to always be in control and plan everything according to what we want and not according to God’s will and path for our lives!

A man’s heart plans his way, but the Lord directs his steps.

Proverbs 16:9 NKJV

It is important to start letting go of MY will, and start seeking God’s will.

Less of me,  all of God.
