Being Legendary

Being legendary means being remarkable enough to be famous or to be very well known. It also means that you are known for making an impact.

Great world legends are known for the impact they made.

Nelson Mandela brought healing and freedom to South Africa; Albert Einstein made great breakthroughs in science; Helen Keller improved welfare for the deaf and the list goes on, but most of all – Jesus Christ taught the message of love, faith and forgiveness.

When you die one day, what mark will you leave behind? What impact did you make? Did you live your faith and the fruit of the Spirit throughout your life?

“You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled underfoot.“You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house.  In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.

Matthew 5:13-16 NIV

Choose therefore to impact the world. It is after all a choice..

We can choose to be affected by the world,
or we can choose to affect the world. – Heidi Wills
