In Exodus 14 we read of the time when the Israelites had to cross the red sea. The Egyptians followed them and wanted to attack which made the Israelites afraid. Luckily for them, God fights for them.
Egypt is seen as bondage. Every time the New Testament refers to Egypt, it refers to bondage.
God lead Israel out of Egypt and Jesus lead us out of the enemy’s prison.
The Sovereign Lord has filled me with His Spirit. He has chosen me and sent me to bring good news to the poor, to heal the brokenhearted, to announce release to captives, and freedom to those in prison.
Isaiah 61:1 GNB
Sometimes we have to face the giant in the battle, just like David faced Goliath.
Because it is God’s battle, we have to trust God to take us through the battle.
There will be challenges on the way in your life that you need to face – whether just a bump in the road or an elephant in your way – we should trust God and let Him fight for us.
The Lord will fight for you, and there is no need for you to do anything.
Exodus 14:14 GNB
