Die jaar het skaars begin, en reeds voel dit vir sommige van ons asof die spreekwoordelike “rat race” weer in volle swang is.

Ons almal ervaar al die baie verantwoordelikhede, met tog so min tyd.

Dit is in tye soos hierdie wat dit voel of jy net in sak wil sit, jou hoof wil buig en hoop vir net n bietjie rus en n goeie uitkoms uitkoms.

Die Woord sê egter die teenoorgestelde. In plaas van af kyk en top oor ons omstandighede, moet ons egter ons hoof lig en op kyk – na dit wat groter is as ons sogenaamde realiteite.

Vandag word ons herinner aan die voorreg om te kan opkyk, oorgee, terug gee en hoop te hê in Sy vrede.
