In John 16:21-22 we read that a woman experiences sorrow when she has to give birth, but after having her child, she has overwhelming joy.
In the same way, we will experience sorrow and trials, but it will never last forever. As the saying goes, “This too shall pass.”
So also you have sorrow now, but I will see you again, and your hearts will rejoice, and no one will take your joy from you.
John 16:22 ESV
We need to be so focused on God that our joy will not be affected by our circumstances, but steadfast in Him. Circumstances will change every day, but God is constant.
Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.
Hebrews 13:8 ESV
Let’s focus on God’s constant love and abundance. We know that He is in control.
