Travelling means planning

When travelling a unfamiliar road, it is very sensible to use a map or GPS so that you won’t get lost.

Whether you realize it or not, you are traveling on an unfamiliar road every day, a road called “life”.  A journey full of unexpected incidents, adventures and even more a whole lot of unexpected curve balls.

As believers we do have the peace of mind that God is ever present,  Immanuel, God with us.

He is directing us on this once in a lifetime journey (life), on the exact road He wants us to take by using His Word.

When our children were young, we used to tell them that the word “Bible” stands for “Basic instructions before leaving earth”.

God is still instructing us through His Word.  We must only be willing to read it, listen to it and obey it.

So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God.  I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. Isaiah 41:10 NIV

Your Word is a lamp for my feet, a light for my path.  Psalm 119:105 NIV

You will hear a voice behind you saying, “This is the way. Follow it, whether it turns to the right of to the left”.  Isaiah 30:21 GW Translation

Prayer:

Thank You Lord for Your living Word, the lamp to my feet, the light to my path. Thank You for not giving up on me the times that I ignored Your directions. Thank You for Your grace and mercy.  Thank You for Your Word that never change.
