God promises us in His Word that He is our refuge. He wants us to tell Him all our troubles – even though He already knows them.
Trust in Him at all times, you people; Pour out your heart before Him; God is a refuge for us. Selah.
Psalm 62:8 NKJV
Pouring your heart out, will result in you being vulnerable, which is exactly when God keeps you safe. He wants you to accept Him as your refuge.
The phrase “at all times” indicates that we should trust Him even when it doesn’t make sense to trust Him and surrender.
It is important to surrender your control and trust Him to take control.
