For the wages of sin is death,
but the gift of God is eternal life
in Christ Jesus our Lord.

What do you focus on?

focus

While driving, you focus on the road that you have to drive on. If you take your eyes off the road, you will go in the direction your eyes are fixed.

So it is in life as well, what you put your eyes on, you will start following in your deeds.

How often do we put our eyes on worldly things and then get so consumed by it and start living in the world?

God’s Word states in Peter that we are not of this world, we are foreigners – almost like aliens (ha-ha)  if you know what I mean..

Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth.

Colossians 3:2 NKJV

Choose to focus on God and keep your eyes focused on Him, then you will be able to follow Him and start living in Him and not in the world.

My Home is in Heaven. I’m just travelling through this world.

1 Blessed is the man Who walks not in the counsel of the [a]ungodly, Nor stands in the path of sinners, Nor sits in the seat of the scornful; 2 But his delight is in the law of the Lord, And in His law he [b]meditates day and night. 3 He shall be like a tree Planted by the [c]rivers of water, That brings forth its fruit in its season, Whose leaf also shall not wither; And whatever he does shall prosper. 4 The ungodly are not so, But are like the chaff which the wind drives away. 5 Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, Nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous. 6 For the Lord knows the way of the righteous, But the way of the ungodly shall perish.

Psalm 1 - NKJV
