Boldness to Speak with God

Die Bybel getuig van talle gebeurtenisse waar gelowiges aangemoedig word om aan God se Woord vas te hou en Hom te vertrou.

Daniël was bereid om slegs voor die lewende God sy knie te buig en Hom alleen te dien;
Ester was bereid om op te staan vir haar volk t.s.v. die moontlikheid dat sy haar lewe sou verloor indien sy (ongenooid) by die koning sou opdaag;
selfs Dawid wat as jong skaapwagter kies om voor die groot reus, Goliat te gaan staan – almal oor hul geloof in – en liefde vir hul Skepper.

Soms is die lewe uitgadend, maar ons het die gemoedsrus dat God altyd vir Sy kinders veg. Die vyand wil graag hê dat ons die fokus op onsself plaas (ja, op ons onvermoë) in plaas van die Heilige Gees IN ons wat ons wil lei en leer.
